Looking back at the CeBIT 2016, we are proud to say that it was a success and we would like to thank everyone that helped making it so!
A great variation of idéas and products were shown this week and based on awesomeness we will point out our top 5 favourite products at CeBIT 2016 that we found interesting. Biggest is not always best!

Pepper is a human-shaped robot that can identify your emotions and select the behaviour best suited to the situation. It’s used mostly as an assistant in stores to welcome, inform and amuse customers. Pepper can be personalized and evolve with you to learn your preferences. A fun fact is that Pepper is the first humanoid robot to be adopted. The future is looking bright for Pepper, he can even do the fist bump explosion!

Botspot is an all body 3D scanner that can turn everything into a digital 3D copy. It uses photogrammetry technology to scan the bodies contact free, hazard free and fast. As a matter of fact, it scans in the record time of less than 1/100th of a second! They build 3D scanners for a lot of different applications and for all imaginable sizes such as humans, animals and machines. Being inside the scanner makes you feel you’re in space. Beam me up Scotty!

The company Holy Trinity showcased their new smart lighting system VARA, which is currently a Kickstarter project. The design is minimalistic and elegant based on an aluminum body with powder coating. You can control every single LED in the lighting system via your smartphone to create your own scenarios or effects. The VARA is not just an awesome and fun smartlight, it is a tool for the creative! Create your own art structures with it and amaze your friends when they visit your home.

Bosch showcased their automatic production assistant in an unusual way - a barista serving coffee. The intelligent robot arm allows direct collaboration with people without expensive shielding. The smart safety system implemented makes it possible for people to interact without any danger. Ideally, it is suited for supporting workers in heavy, monotonous and dirty tasks, but we sure enjoyed being served coffee from it.

Monitoor, the digital eye, keeps track of modifications on any website. By filtering alerts you will only get relevant notifications and their graphical interface makes it easy for quick overviews and interesting analyzes. Monitoor knows time is valuable and this will help so many people that are tracking specific websites. We wish you the best of luck with the service!
